Registration procedure in our website and access by minors
A participant must register personally by following the on-screen instructions.
When you open your account, you will be asked to provide us with personal information, including your name, date of birth, identity document and appropriate contact details, including an address, telephone number, e-mail address plus bank ID (where applicable) (“Your Contact Details”). We only accept Spanish residents participants. Therefore, in order to open an account, you need to register your NIF or NIE in case of non-Spanish citizens residing in Spain.
Please note that players who register an account on this website are presumed to have read and understood our terms and conditions and agree to abide by them. To register an account with us, you must be of legal age and must not be subject to any prohibition: you must not be self-excluded or be registered in the General Registry of Interdictions of Access to the Game (RGIAJ).
As indicated in clause 30.1.6. Play by minors of our terms and conditions, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 to open an account or to gamble on our website. We carry out age verification checks on all customers who use payment mechanisms which are available to under 18s and additionally perform random age verification checks on customers using other forms of funding mechanisms. Please note than anyone under the age of 18 found to be using the Website will have any winnings forfeited and may also be reported to the authorities.
If we detect that a person under the age of 18 is using a gaming account, we will proceed to cancel their account, cancel any winnings they may have obtained, and inform the authorities through the corresponding procedure.
Responsible Gaming
You are important. You are valued. You are our greatest asset.
We want to you to enjoy an out of this world experience and we will do this by looking after you.
Gaming should be pure entertainment however, you can’t always win. Unfortunately, losing is also part of the game so we want to make sure you are prepared for this. We want to make you aware of the social and financial difficulties that can occur if you find gaming is no longer about having fun.
Gaming can be addictive and can easily make you lose perspective of time and money. We want your gaming experience at Genesis Casino to be as positive as possible, even if you lose.
Spend only what you can afford to risk whilst maintaining a level of self-control. Keep it together by remembering:
1. Gambling should always be done in moderation and undertaken as a form of leisure not as genuine way of making money.
2. Avoid chasing losses – there will always be another day.
3. Only gamble when you can cover the losses.
4. Keep track of the time and monitor the amount of money you spend.
5. Utilise all the limit tools to stay in control.
6. Should you need a break from gambling, self-exclusion can be activated by contacting Support or request it directly in the ‘Self-exclusion’ section.
For more information on responsible gaming practice you can visit www.jugarbien.es portal where you will find material and information related to responsible gaming.
If you need to talk to someone about any concerns you may have regarding your gambling habits, please contact one of the organisations listed below.
Gambling Problem?
Under this link you will find a test related to responsible gaming and prevention of addictive behaviour, published as annex I of the Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego’s resolution of 16th November 2011, with which you can take a self-evaluation that consists of the following questions:
1. Do you often find yourself remembering past gaming experiences, planning the next time you are going to play and/or consider ways to get money to play with?
2. Have you ever played with more money than planned?
3. Do you try to control, interrupt or stop the game?
4. Does the attempt to interrupt or stop the game cause you restlessness or irritability?
5. Do you play to avoid a problem?
6. When you play with money, do you play again to recover the losses?
7. Do you think you have a problem with gaming?
8. Do you finance your gaming activity through family money, loan, forgery, fraud or theft?
9. Have you ever missed work or class time due to gaming?
10. Have you asked someone to help you with economic problems caused by gaming?
If you mostly answered “yes”, please consider contacting one of the Gambling Counselling Organisations listed in the section “Help Center Directory” for advice and support.
Know Your Limits
We have all pushed ourselves to the limit, at some point or another but if you find it becomes a common occurrence that you have exceeded your gambling budget, we have tools in place at Genesis Casino that can help you to stay on top of it:
Set daily, weekly or monthly restrictions so that you can take full control over your gambling spend. By default you have the following deposit limits assigned:
€600 per day (from 00:00 to 24:00).
€1,500 per week (from 00:00 on Monday to 24:00 on Sunday).
€3,000 per month (from 00:00 on the first day of the month to 24:00 on the last day of the month).
Change your limits at any time. Decreases in deposit limits happen immediately. To increase your default deposit limits you must pass the ‘Responsible Gaming Test’ and a 3 day cool off period shall apply before the new limits start.
We provide all our players with tools to help control their play. Before you start playing any game of slots you must tell us: The time you want to play and how much money you want to spend from your current balance.
When any of the configured limits (whichever occurs before) is reached, your game session will end.
In the configuration of your game session you must also tell us how often you want us to show you a warning with: the time you have played and the money you have spent. You also have the option to indicate if, once the configured game session ends, you do not want to play again until after a certain time.
Set yourself daily, weekly or monthly restrictions in here and take full control over your gambling spend. Please note: Limits cannot be applied retroactively therefore existing transactions on your account cannot be made void.
At any time, you can see your game activity by accessing your activity history, where you can check your deposits, withdrawals, participation in games and prizes obtained, in different periods of time.
If you require any further information or assistance, please contact our customer support.
Self-exclusion
If you need to take a step back and stop playing for a bit from our website, click here to self-exclude. During the duration of the self-exclusion you will not be able to:
- Participate in any of our games.
- Deposit or withdraw funds in your account.
- Receive news or commercial communications from us.
- Create a new user account.
Keep in mind that once the time has been set and your self-exclusion has been accepted, your account cannot be reopened until the time has passed.
Autoprohibition
The General Registry of Interdictions of Access to the Game (RGIAJ) is a public registry in which the following individuals can register:
- Citizens who have voluntarily requested to be banned from gambling activities.
- Citizens who are prohibited from participating in gambling activities by court order.
- Citizens who are legally incapacitated for this activity.
- We constantly consult the RGIAJ, with the objective of restricting the access of users registered in it.
Unlike our self-exclusion service detailed in the previous section, through which you can temporarily restrict your access to this website, autoprohibition (voluntary registration in the RGIAJ) restricts your access to all gaming activity in Spain. If you wish to register, modify your data or unsubscribe from it, you must request it to the General Directorate of Game Management through this link: link: http://www.ordenacionjuego.es/es/rgiaj or by clicking on the Autoprohibition icon that you will find at the bottom of this site.
